Fountain Pens use a chamber of ink, either cartridge or convertor. The ink flows down to the nib and depending on the size of the nib makes a thin or thick line as it meets the paper. Ink left in the pen for a long time can dry out and clog the inside mechanics, but a good soak in water usually clears this again. |
